I have been a teacher at Northwestern High School for the past four years. I have enjoyed working with amazing students and great colleagues. The STEP experience has provided me with a plethora of new ideas to make my teaching better. I am writing this introduction after successfully utilizing all of the tools with my students. The new tools helped my teaching be more creative. Not only have I been using these great new tools, but my student intern has throroughly enjoyed being able to use these items. He is worried he has become so dependent on them that he will not be as effective next year.
My three goals for STEP include the following:
1. Discover new ways to make my teaching more effective.
2. Become more adept at utilizing blogs and wikis---the future of the internet.
3. Find new ways to use technology to reach struggling students.
